“We stayed here to attend a wedding at the nearby River House and it was perfect. We were super close to the venue, the place was cozy but large enough to be comfortable and was clean. We cooked dinner and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We even walked to the Gelston House for a nightcap on their back deck. It was a great location and nice stay.”

“The house was exactly as described and was as nice as it looked in the photos. The property contact was very responsive and communicated well. Beds were comfy, plenty of linens available, kitchen well stocked, and all appliances and fixtures are updated. This was originally planned for my three adult sons to stay, but I ended up staying there several nights. Was a great location to visit family in Cromwell. We stayed 10 nights and would highly recommend. ”

We are from Florida, and it was cold in CT and the heat worked great so that was really good. Andrew was responsive to requests. Only criticism was in some of the set up. “We had a GREAT time here!! Just beautiful scenery all around. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed essentially. I was quite impressed with how comfortable we actually were. There was a temporary power outage but it didn’t last long and management not only delivered more wood to us but also gave it to us for free as we wanted to spend our time outdoors during the outage. “Hotel didn’t have out reservation even after we had paid for it - took an hour to check in at midnight - parking lot was full of random activity and people all hours of night and hall ways smelled like weed. Clientele was shady and co within of hotel rooms and surrounding area was dirty, worn out, in need of maintenance and overall place was a dump.
