“My cousin and I stayed here for just one night at the end of our stay on Lake Atitlán. Our room (one of the teepees) was great and had everything we needed. The communal bathrooms were often out of toilet paper and paper towels. The restaurant/bar was expensive but the food was good. The bottom of the pool was covered in algae and no one was swimming while we were there. But the location is great for exploring Pana. Overall we would recommend but feel like the price is high for what you get. ”

“The hostel is located right at the base of Santa Cruz which made it super easy to grab the lanchas. My friend and I stayed in a private suite which was really nice and cozy. The grounds of the hostel itself are stunning and so relaxing! They host family-style dinner's every night which was so wholesome and was a great way to meet new people. The only cons I will say is that there's only wifi in the common spaces, and wifi doesn't reach the rooms. Other than that, I loved my stay! ”

“I've been travelling in hostals since 35 years. I have never seen so dirty rooms. The place is great, but I felt really not comfortable, and I moved out from hostal as soon as I was able to do. The patio is great, the peole nice, but the rooms have to be redone totally. It's definitly awfull. And I'm not talking about the bathrooms.”

“I arrived around 9:45 and they couldn’t locate my original reservation. They said they couldn’t find me and didn’t have my reservation. After looking she found the reservation I had made almost 2 months ago she said it was their mistake. Even though they didn’t have my type of room available they were able to accommodate me with another room. After that everything was perfect ”

“It's a small guesthouse in a gated-community near the airport, and is protected by security. There is no 24 hour reception, so if you're arriving early or at night contact them and let them know in advance so they know when to expect you. The watcher doesn't speak English well. There's no room service (it's just a room) but it's safe and very clean. There is a microwave, coffee and hot water available in the common area, and the TV is connected to streaming services. ”

Antigua

"Stannade en natt i Antigua och hade bokat hotellet i förväg. Enkelt att hitta med en bra parkering när man kom. Hotellet hade transport till centrum varje timme Rummen var lyhörda med dålig ljudisolering i fönster och dörrar med störande ljud från gatan. Vi bodde i markplan mot vägen med en mindre trädgård som utsikt vilket var fint. Säkert tystare i rummen mot bad området. Högljudda personer i korridoren hördes också väldigt väl. Fina utrymmen på hotellet med gott om servicevänlig personal och en bra frukost "

Beautiful hotel but pricy

"Casa del mundo is very picture perfect but it didn't feel as authentic as some of the other places we visited. The food was average and quite pricy. We booked massage that wasn't very good, after quite a few attempts we managed to get a bit off money back at least. The jacuzzi was lovely. For unknown reason the paddle boards were broken,but we weren't told why and when we could use them. There is A LOT of stairs, so if you have issues with that it's not the best place for you. "
