“The house is a charming log cabin located deep in the woods of a sparsely populated part of Mt Desert Island. It has a nice but small private pond behind the house. The house is overall nice, but definitely has some quirks and inaccurate listing details. Contrary to the listing, it does NOT have a hot tub. “We absolutely loved our trip here. The cabin is more gorgeous in person than the pictures. The cabin is close to everything and a short walk to the town. The outdoor seating area with the fire was a welcome way to spend a cool evening. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry room. The loft overlooking the water was perfect. We hope to come back and would absolutely stay here again!”
