“The review says tell us about your stay, however, there never was a stay. I tried contacting the owner to go over the check in process, a man answered the number saying that he was given that number and he was sorry he couldn't help me. Concerning but I saw I could email them so I did and I got no response. I then saw other reviews from other individuals receiving poor service or no service like myself. Hotels.com needs to remove their account so they can't get away with scamming hard working...

“What an absolute disaster! I booked this boat and I called the number no less than six times could not contact with anyone. Hotels.com did try to help me they could not contact anyone. So at 6 o’clock at night I was left with no place to stay and no one contacted me. I am sitting here the next day and no one has ever reached out to me. I lost my money. Hotels.com only gave me a $25 credit.”

“The place is not what they said it was. The boats are not clean. No working kitchen or bathroom. In my opinion very sketchy to say the least. Do not book you will be very disappointed.. The local law enforcement is looking to talk to the owner. That is what a local sheriff’s deputy had said to us. What a joke! Don’t do it.”

“I’m amazed that VRBO allows this bullshit on their website, this host has multiple boats, and I’m quite sure they’re all derelict vessels, advertised as docked in a boat slip but was moored out in the bay, had to run a noisy generator for power, not to mention the bathtub looking dinghy with a dilapidated trolling motor to get there”

“The property wasn’t the one in the advertisement…. It was advertised as “the Gyp-Sea” but it was actually “the last Hoorah! It was not very clean , the toilet was broken, there was things stored in the bathroom and also in the shower , so we were unable to even go in either! The loud generator on the boat was almost out of gas. The 4 workers that took 2 trips to get us on the boat were the only good thing about this . They went above and beyond, with what they had to work with ! We left and had...

“It was awful. We didn't stay, I honestly felt like my kids and I were going to be trafficked. They were an hour late, unapologetic, told me they had 4 last minute bookings, so why did they get priority over us who booked well in advance. A strange guy asked to motor us out to a different boat but said he'd have to clean linens first. They weren't going to leave a boat for us. It was pitch black. They didn't have my parking pass and didnt even know where I should park. ”
