"Very inconvenient that the taxi booked by the reception (which they had written on a big note that they offered) only took cash, and didn't say so until the end of the trip. Otherwise all good. "

"The location was great and the staff tried hard, however, everything else was only just okay. The door lock system does not work well with you having to replace the keys frequently. Also, all the public areas are too small. The worst was getting into the breakfast room there were queues and some days impossible to get in."

"It's a good hotel. But they really need to do something about the noise level in the pool area, we were just 8 people in there but couldn't stay long because of how all sounds were amplified. We had to keep asking them for things at breakfast because no one appeared to be in charge of refilling the bread, cheese, etc. And the door to the room was completely without dampening so it slammed shut really really hard and fast. It's just a matter of time before a kid gets hit by it."

"The room was nice and clean. Nice staff and breakfast (hot and cold). On the minus side is the area around the hotel, but easy to reach by foot from the train station. "

"Let me begin by saying the staff are brilliant, professional and friendly. When I complained at checkout I felt respected and as though my concerns were being taken seriously. 10/10. Otherwise not much good to say about the place. It’s a budget hotel that seems to double up as a halfway house. I didn’t feel very secure there. My first night, I shared a lift with a man so off his head I was both intimidated and worried about him. The second night there was a group drunks partying in the corridor. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my room. But it’s a rough part of town, the hotel can’t help that. I could feel the springs in the mattress. The bed linen, while washed, had some old stains, the pillows were useless, ventilation in the room wasn’t working properly and kept resetting to 23 degrees, there was obviously water damage in the “hall”, wallpaper peeling off, bathroom panel coming loose, loose plug sockets. The room wasn’t dirty per se, but could do with a deep clean. The walls are thin which doesn’t go well with macerating toilets. I did not sleep well at all."
