“The host was very communicative and gave us local recommendations. Her kitchen was closed but she still made us a pizza as we hadn’t eaten in awhile. She also allowed us to sit in her kitchen 30 minutes early for breakfast and eat about 10 minutes early too. We got our own tiny home to rest in for the two days we stayed. “The road to this cabin was a very long, secluded, bumpy dirt road. We came across a couple who had gotten a flat tire on the road which made me very nervous because it was just my daughter and I solo on this trip. That aside, the cabin was beautiful. Spacious and cozy with everything you worked need for an extended stay. The couch in the living area was very comfortable and so was the bed. We loved the cabin! “We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here”
