“very nice house and well-equipped. You can easily live here the year round. There are three modern air-conditioning units, functioning well.The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. Only the shower is somewhat inconvenient. Also the accessibilty of the house for older seniors from the parking area is a serious obstacle when it is hot. ”

“Es war sehr nett im Dorf zu wohnen. Wir haben dort auch jeden Abend in der Taverne in Mires gegessen. Ein Tag gab es einen Stromausfall, und wir haben bei Anastasia im Minimarket einen türkischen Kaffee (auf Gasflamme gekocht) erhalten und ein paar Dorfbewohner getroffen. Sehr familiär. Man kann sehr gut die ganze Gegend um Agios Nikolaos erkunden.”

“We stayed here over Christmas and New Years for 16 days with our two sons aged 24 and 18. This is an authentic village house that has been renovated but has not lost its charm. Julienne ist sehr freundlich, die Übergabe der Schlüssel hat perfekt geklappt. Gern hätten wir die wunderschöne Windmühle mit dem kleinen Garten mehr zum Entspannen, Lesen usw. genutzt. “We had a wonderful stay in this charming house located close to the beach. The house was spotless and well stocked with all the amenities. The view from the balcony over an olive grove to the sea was great - we particularly enjoyed all our breakfasts, lunches and dinners there. Also, the host, Nikolaos Kopanakis, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. To sum up, the location is really perfect for spending a most relaxed and delightful time on the south side of Crete.”

“Wir (eine Familie 2 Kindern im Alter von 10 und 15 Jahren) haben im August hier eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem Haus und der tollen Umgebung in Kretas Osten verbracht. Es ist alles Nötige vorhanden, die leckere Taverne und ein kleiner Dorfladen sind in 1 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar und der Blick von der Dachterrasse ist atemberaubend schön. Nachts ist es super ruhig, die Schlafzimmer sind gut klimatisiert und total dunkel. Das i-Tüpfelchen wären noch 2 Sonnenliegen oder Outdoor-Lounge Möbel...

“Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit auf Kreta. Die Gegend um Agios Nikolaos ist traumhaft und es gibt viel zu entdecken. Unsere Unterkunft war genau, wie wir sie uns vorgestellt hatten. Alles war sehr sauber und der Vermieter sowie die Reinigungskraft sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Wir haben tolle Ausflugstipps erhalten. “A truly wonderful little house, very well appointed with bedding and towels. It's even somewhat of a tourist attraction due to the magnificent Bougainvillea. Just right for two people. Turn left out of the front door and you have 6 tavernas, 4 bars, a super bay to swim in and a well stocked little supermarket. The whole atmosphere is very tranquil and relaxed. Finally Androniki, the owner is fabulous and very attetive.”

“Wi-Fi was down the entire time we were there. Not a huge deal but this was never disclosed to us until we asked. Seems like some information we could have be told up front. Bathroom was definitely not cleaned before our arrival. House is overall tired and needs some basic attention. Lots of lights that don’t work, shower was pretty dirty. Definitely more “rustic” than “traditional” The property is beautiful and we did enjoy our stay, just wish it was cleaner. ”
