The Old Harbour Master Flat

Fullt utrustade två sovrum 2: a våningen lägenhet belägen i Dunbar Harbour bevarande område. Lätt gångavstånd till High Street, fritidsbassäng, tågstation etc. Massor av bra restauranger, barer och kaféer ligger också inom räckhåll. Beläget i naturskyddsområdet med utsikt över den pittoreska Dunbar hamnen och East Beach. Det har nyligen inredats, mattor och utrustade för hög komfort.

Sovrum 2 - enkelsäng med extra trille enkelsäng om det behövs
Fullt utrustat kök med tvättmaskin och diskmaskin. Elektrisk ugn och spis. Stort kylskåp och frys.
Badrum med dusch över badkaret.
Lägenheten går in via en ren och ljus gemensam trappa och ligger på övervåningen (2: a) våningen. Det finns gott om gratis parkering vid hamnen och på Shore Street samt en utrustad parkeringsplats för lägenheten.
Det skulle passa familj med två vuxna och upp till två barn perfekt. Fastigheten är rökfri.
Dunbar har mycket att erbjuda besökare. Det ligger på East Lothian's Golf Coast och har två kurser - Winterfield och Dunbar som är en Open Championship-kvalifikationskurs. Coast Surf School ligger vid Belhaven Beach i utkanten av staden och erbjuder surf coaching och paddle board sessioner. Foxlake Adventures ligger 5 minuters bilresa bort och är en av de största wakeboardingscentra i Storbritannien samt erbjuder repkurser och en zip-kabel. För de yngre familjemedlemmarna fortsätter East Links Family Park med sitt urval av djur (gård och mer exotisk), järnväg och andra attraktioner.
Dunbar ligger bara 20 minuter med tåg till centrum av Edinburgh - en av Europas främsta destinationstäder med många årliga evenemang som Edinburghfestivalen och den militära tatueringen. Det finns också frekventa bussar till olika destinationer i East Lothian, Edinburgh och North Northumberland.

Superb harborside flat in Dunbar
We were delighted with this spacious, spotless, sunny and well-equipped apartment for our two week stay. The host was wonderful from check-in through close, offering assistance and information throughout. Highly recommend and look forward to a return.

Wonderful.
We loved staying at this property, the location close to the sea and only a few minutes from the Main Street where there were shops and cafes was great. The train station was not far off for access to Edinburgh. Susie was always responsive and helpful. The accomodation had every thing we needed.

Great place for a weekend stay
We used Susie's place as a base for attending a wedding in the local area and it was just what we needed. Well located, all the amenities that you could need (the iron was especially helpful...) and a lovely communal space to relax and look at the beautiful view. The beds were made up as two doubles for us and our friends which was really helpful too.

Great Get-a-Way!
We loved our 4 night stay at the Harbor Master's Apartment. Susie was there to great us when we arrived and was so friendly and helpful, explaining everything for us and giving us great suggestions. The apartment was good size and beautifully decorated to the seaside theme with a great view of the harbor. It was within walking distance to the train station which we used daily for trips into Edinburgh. It was nice each afternoon to leave the hustle of the city and return to the Quiet, comfortable, easy-going and safe feel of the beautiful seaside village of Dunbar. There were several places to eat in town, just a short and enjoyable walk from the apartment. Wish we could have had even more time to stay in town and just explore and relax. Absolutely loved the apartment and town! Great experience!

Lovely town and location
The apartment was clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with the host was timely and clear directions given. The parking space was small but plenty of parking on the street. Lots of reminders to not be loud.

Holiday Haven in Dunbar!
This flat is fantastic! The view from the sitting room is just gorgeous as it looks out onto an inlet of the North Sea. We loved the reading nook, but it was difficult to concentrate on the written words with such a view. The layout is great for families, especially how the rooms are separated by a hallway and door from the sitting/dining room. All the amenities we needed were there, including a washing machine and microwave. We even had a choice as to hang our clean, wet clothes inside on a rack or outside on a clothesline. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet with lots of birdsong. The location was easy to access, and we walked all over Dunbar, including wonderful footpaths. This place was our favourite, and we highly recommend it! Thank you to Susie and Seamus for providing such a haven on our holiday!

Very Nice Stay- Recommend
We stayed for a few days in June 2024. It's a very nice apartment, fully furnished. It's a short walk from the town's main street which has a couple of medium-sized supermarkets and several different restaurants. It's also about a 10-15 minute walk from the Dunbar train station and many bus stops for transportation options. Susie is very responsive with communications and answered all of our questions during the check in process. Would recommend staying here.

Tour of Scotland
One of the best VRBO’s we’ve had the pleasure of staying at and we’ve stayed at many. Would definitely return and recommend to others. Has absolutely everything you need for a short or long term stay. Host is lovely and easy to get in touch with! The flat is bright and comfy.
