Cute central home, new interior, large newly fenced backyard and patio area!

This is a new Dubuque listing in 2022 but I am a Premier Host with 5+ years of an excellent hosting track record on VRBO/HomeAway. Gain confidence in my attention to detail and customer service by viewing my reviews of my other property #4965021 in Phelps, WI.

This cute, brick, one story 1940's home was fully remodeled in 2022 with a fun modern vibe. The entire home is one level which is perfect for families with younger children or individuals who enjoy a nice place without steps to navigate. Why pay for 2 or 3 cramped, cookie-cutter hotel rooms with uncomfortable sleeping arrangements when you can spread your family out in 3 bedrooms and get a good night's sleep for less money? Our cozy home is located in a nice, safe, centrally located area of Dubuque very close to Flora Park, Bunker Hill Golf Course and the relaxing Body & Soul Day Spa. We are 1/2 a mile from Clarke University, less than a mile to University of Dubuque and 1.5 miles from Loras College. Emmaus Bible College is 1 block away. Bunker Hill Golf Course (public course) is 4 blocks away and you can walk just a few blocks to one of Dubuque's biggest and best parks. Flora Park has several fun kids play areas, a wonderful community swimming pool and several tennis courts. Hillcrest Park is also just a few blocks down the street in the other direction. Our home also has a large, newly fenced (June 2023) flat back yard that is great for kicking a soccer ball around or playing frisbee. New patio area added June 2023. Home has convenient off street driveway parking for 2 vehicles. No steps to navigate to the entrance.

Great place if traveling with a pet
This place was wonderful with only one exception (see below). The fenced yard was huge and our dog loved it. The place is in a great location and very quiet neighborhood. The only negative is it didn't have central air and the window air conditioner was very loud. We left it on when we were out to cool the place as it was too loud to watch TV or chat with it on. It was in the high 80's-90's when we were they so it was definitely needed. Otherwise a great place and great owner.

Great little getaway
Stayed at this house with 2 friends while competing in dragon boat races on the Mississippi. It’s pet friendly and has a nice fenced yard with a great sitting area. You can tell this has been newly updated and while compact, the three bedrooms gave us privacy. The living area was comfortable and I was impressed with the amount of games that were provided. Best of all was the host’s responsiveness to questions. Very good communication and a delight to work with.

The home was very clean and provided everything we needed. We thought it was a very cute, well decorated and comfortable home. We came in town for a wedding and were 7 minutes away from everything we needed to access. (We didn’t know that at the time). The host is very friendly and more than accommodating!

Perfect home close to everything in Dubuque
This home is lovely. Such a great layout. The updates are so great and the fenced in backyard is a game changer for our dog. The outdoor patio is perfect for hanging anytime of the day. The location is perfect and will definitely stay again and again!

A Golden 50th Anniversary Trip
Where to start… Our stay was fantastic, the home is clean and cozy, the backyard is enormous and well kept, and talk about a great host! Cheryl’s check-in documentation was thorough, and she was so helpful reaching out to make sure we were settled. Nestled in a tidy brick neighborhood, the home is easily accessible and located right in the middle of everything. We spent time at the fairgrounds with our classic cars, and were able to easily scoot around downtown Dubuque, dining at Timmerman’s to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary. 10 out of 10, would recommend!!

Adorable
City bungalo meets mid century with modern farmhouse. Clean, quiet, newly remodeled fresh. Easy acess to dubuque areas of interest and galena. Home is minimalist (no clutter). Just a nice spot after a day of outings. A fire pit would be good addition, along with a table outside, umbrella. Just a suggestion, but we loved the big yard and adorable house.

Close to campus, quiet street, clean and comfortable!
We loved our stay in Dubuque in this cozy, clean and comfortable house! It was on a quiet street right near college campus, which was an ideal location for move in day when we dropped our freshman off. The fenced in yard was a bonus for our black lab dog. The host was very easy to communicate with from beginning to end. The house was very clean, beds were comfortable, a room w/desk that worked out for my husband's office hours and everything you need for kitchen use. I personally loved all the decor/furniture and special added touches that made it welcoming and a great stay! We definitely plan to stay here again during our son's college years.

Our stay was great. Our host was very helpful and kind. I don’t who was supposed to send out the welcome packet, but I did not get it. The house was well located. It was within a few minutes of good shopping and eating. Since this was my first VRBO experience, I was wondering if I did it right? I did not receive my arrival packet.
