Detta hus ligger 5 miles från arken och är 40 miles från Creation Museum. Vi är bara 32 miles från Greater Cincinnati Airport. Vi ligger precis mellan Cincinnati Ohio och Lexington Kentucky, 2 miles från Interstate 75. Det finns en stor sjö som ligger bara 6 miles från huset.

Stort gammalt hus som ligger på en tunnland mycket. Gården med Hus köptes 1943 av Cline och Pearl King. Vid den tiden fick man veta att huset var 100 år gammalt och med det sagt skulle det ha byggts före inbördeskriget. De kallade vägen Kings Heights och på 90-talet bytte staden till Kings Drive.
Under åren har jordbruksmarken delats ut. Del för andra hem och vilken gård som finns kvar ägs av en privat ägare, inte en familjemedlem. Huset genom åren har haft renovering inifrån och ut men många av de gamla kvarlevorna.
Nu är vi de stora barnbarnen och ger andra en chans att njuta av det gamla hemmet och ibland vackra soluppgångar och solnedgångar.

Grannies house was very very clean and tidy. Lawrence was very nice and friendly and told us about the history of Grannies house.

The house is absolutely wonderful. Full of character and Old Time charm. Mr. Lawrence greeted us upon arrival. We enjoyed all the “porch sitting” conversations. Overall, the best VRBO stay yet.Thank you, Mr. Lawrence for making our stay such a pleasure.

My cousin and I were on a road trip on our way to Nashville for a wedding and decided to visit The Ark along the way. Granny's House was in an excellent location both to The Ark and just for a quiet place to relax. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We would have loved to have had more time to just enjoy staying in the house. If we're in the area again, we will definitely hope to stay there again.

My friend and I were pleasantly impressed with this cute “granny’s house” which is still owned by family of Granny King. It is believed to be over 100 years old and the flooring and baseboard are reminiscent of that time period.The rooms are generously sized, the bathrooms are modernized and we were very comfortable. The view from the front of the house is of fields and a barn. It is an easy drive from I-75, maybe 5 minutes and nice to get away from the restaurants and gas stations right off the highway.

We enjoyed our stay while visiting The Ark Museum. Country setting away from city noise. The house is charming and comfortable. However there is a train that runs close by several times a day and night.

We went to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. They were both amazing as was our stay Granny’s House! We arrived later than planned and Lawrence turned on all the lights for us…much appreciated! When we walked into the house, all 3 of us felt like we were at our Mamaw’s house. We had everything we needed but were given a number to call if we had any problems. I highly recommend this home to stay at if you are ever in the area!!!

We loved the grandma feel, and God’s blessings ar Lund the home. Larence introduced himself and it was reassuring that help was a door away and the owners just down the street. Will recommend this cottage and if I am blessed to come back(Ark exhibit) I will stay here again. Lovely, comfortable and felt like home

This house is pre-civil war house. History just odes from it! The floors are original. The location is close to Cincy, Oh. and real close to the Ark Encounter. The bathrooms and showers are best we've ever had, including hotels and resorts. We'd stay here again if in the area.

The bathrooms need additional hand towels, more toilet paper and paper towels and the outside grill had so much caked on grease that it caught fire and was unsafe. Take care of these little things and the next guests will have an amazing stay.

The place was wonderful. Great because in the middle of all attractions. People were hospitable, lovely, kind, and generous. Granny's Cottage was like you were at home. Easy access to the highways & attractions. Anna & Jake are wonderful people. Anna is such a blessing to be around and learn many things about the history of Dry Ridge and Kings Rd. We will be back. The house was everything that we were looking for in our family trip. The Creation Museum is roughly 40 minutes away and the Ark is a 15 minute drive. Lots of great local restaurants to choose from for dinner. Lawrence has done a great job in keeping the atmosphere of the house like what we would expect from a house that his grandparents purchased in the 1940s. There is central air and WiFi available. I didn’t need to use the WiFi as the cell service was sufficient for what I was using my phone for. My wife and 2 adult sons used the WiFi. There was a guestbook to write about our experience. We had the opportunity to talk with Lawrence a couple of times and were able to listen to his stories not only about living with his grandparents for sometime while growing up. He also is a wealth of information about the history of the area. We plan on staying there again when we go back to The Creation Museum and/or The Ark Encounter.
