“Our group of 10 enjoyed our stay in Penafiel. The property is beautiful - gorgeous sunset, nice pool and a friendly neighbourhood cat. The kitchen has everything that one would need, although it could use a larger kitchen sink! We loved the outdoor bbq and pizza oven. The owner communicated well with us. We highly recommend taking the owner up on the offer to have the Portuguese cook to whip up some excellent Portuguese fare. ”

“We were 8 adults spending 10 days in this house. Perfect as a base for excursions in the nothern regions of Portugal with rented cars. The house is really nice for a big family and we absolutel enjoyed the nice clean pool and garden with grill. Car is a must in this case. And talking about cars...unfortunately it is quite heavy traffic just outside this house eventhough it looks like a small street in the countryside. The streets are paved with cobble stone which intensifies the noise. But if...

“11 of us stayed as two families, with kids ranging between 13 and 7. We were so impressed with the sheer size of the property and the grounds. It was so spacious and immaculate. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything that you could possibly need. There were so many things to do around the villa, whether it was the pool, table tennis, table football, badminton or playing football, that no-one was ever bored. We ate in the villa most days, but got Ubers into Vila do Conde and Povoa de...

“Hit åker man för en lugn vecka i byn, promenadavstånd till jättefin strand (dock väldigt kallt vatten) och fin pool som barnen kan bada i. Fräscht hus och 5-10 minuters promenad till slaktare, bageri, fiskaffär och enklare mataffär.”
