“This was an emergency trip that was booked at the last minute on New Year’s Eve for a stay starting the next day. We did have some communication issues to begin with, but the owner was out of town and this was a very short turnaround. Once we got connected, things went smoothly. We did have a couple maintenance issues during our stay that were addressed quickly. The location was perfect as it put us very close to an ill family member.”

“We were there the week of January 19 which seemed to be the coldest week but nothing to do with the hotel. Everything at the hotel was great. Because they had only operating elevator and the pool heater was not working we were provided with a free upgrade which was fully appreciated. The property recently bounced back after hurricane damage and they are still in recovery but fully operational. The woman who greeted us at the front desk was very nice. “The Lemon Shack is wonderful. All of the thoughtful details provided by the hosts were spot on. Everything you could ever need for a beach vacation was provided. Excellent communication from the host. The house was very clean and well stocked. Can’t recommend this place enough. ”
