When I initially checked in, my room had a huge stain on the wall, light switch board was hanging off the wall, bathroom doors wouldn’t close, huge piece of gum or paste stuck above the door, shower handle limping off wall.. so they eventually moved us to a cleaner room which had a huge hole in the bathroom that was stuffed with tissue paper. There was also banging sounds in the morning as if there was construction in the room beside me. Very irritating. When I ordered room service, something as simple as tea, it would take a minimum of 45 min to arrive. The bellboy as well as male housekeeping assistant were very friendly, kind, and accommodating though. I wish I remembered their names. They were the only positive part of my stay there. The salon is also very good and the hairstylist Joe is amazing. Very nice pool as well. We ended up moving to the Marriott Marquis for our last two days and we very much preferred it as it is a full service hotel conveniently located to everything with great amenities as well as restaurants. Plus, it was more moderately priced than the Bentley and was much cleaner and well preserved. I would never go back to the Bentley, unfortunately. The hotel needs work.
