“This place was so beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Would like to point out though, that the stair case, while beautiful, was not safe for toddlers. There is room at the edges of the steps, under the rail, for a small child to slip through. As a grandma, I was nervous about it. No incidents... just lots of held breath ;) ”

“We had a wonderful stay at this home in September. It was exactly as described and a welcome change from staying in hotels. The owner was very responsive both before and during our stay, which we appreciated. Due to the wildfires in Jasper, we adjusted our plans and found Golden to be a great alternative. We visited Yoho National Park, explored the Golden Skybridge, and even went paragliding off Mount 7! The location is about 15 minutes from downtown Golden, which has plenty of nice restaurant...

“Spectacular views from our accommodation and we were lucky to have clear skies and Northern Lights to add to the view. Very clean and comfortable. Hot tub a big plus. Only suggestion I have is a couple of mixing bowls or serving bowls would be useful. Highly recommend!”

“House is really nice! We used 4 of the 5 bedrooms. Beds comfortable. Living room and kitchen quite enjoyable. Nice view. 1BR/BA at entry level. Stairs to common areas and master BR with en-suite bath. Also another BR and guest bath on that level. Another set of stairs to 2BR and 1 bath. Lots of amenities especially for colder weather and skiing. Would definitely recommend!”

“Highly recommend staying at Meachel’s place. It’s very clean, spacious, perfectly laid out and comfortable. The fireplace was a hit, as was a couple of games on Wii during A rainy night. The views of the forest and the mountains from the front balcony changed each day and night from cloudy to fog to sunny to bright starry night. Unbelievable! I want to come back so bad! ”

“Great property and amenities to host our group that was in town for the Golden Ultra (3-day trail running event)...The house was clean, spacious and quiet for those runners that had an early morning departure - The hot tub was great to relax all the sore bodies after a long wet day on the trail - and get ready for the next day of running. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Auberge Kicking Horse. We are 4 old friends in our early 70's and try to travel together once a year. Loved having a large and well-stocked kitchen. Living space was very comfortable and 3 en-suite baths were great. We took full advantage of the hot tub on the deck, right off the living room. Quiet setting. Host was very communicative both in advance and during our visit. Would definitely return.”

“I can't say enough about how fantastic this rental is. Yes, it is a real review. Twila and Ezio have put a lot of thought into preparing this property for guests, including fresh, locally baked sourdodugh bread for our arrival. Check-in was smooth. The condo is immaculate.
