Welcome to your classic lake life cottage on quiet Munson Lake! This cozy cabin + double bunkhouse for up to 8 is fully furnished and will be the perfect place to enjoy your long summer days on the lake. The cabin is centrally located 4 miles from Detroit Lakes, 3 miles from We Fest campgrounds, and 4.5 miles from Hotel Shoreham and the Detroit Lakes Country Club & Lakeview golf courses.

This unique summer cabin blends the best features of a classic Minnesota lake cabin + bunkhouse glamping for groups of up to 8 or more. Perfect for those with weekend guests or families who require additional space. The west facing lake views bring idyllic sunsets that will never get old.

Note: The property does not yet have laundry onsite, however, there is a local wash and fold, Service Cleaners.

Along with a new full bathroom in 2010, the cabin has many refreshed updates for 2024. Including:

Wonderful layout of cabin and bunk houses
This property offered plenty is separate spaces for kids and teenagers. They loved. the bunk houses! Fishing off the dock and with our boat was fantastic with lots of bites. Our host was super responsive with fixing a few issues with the electric. We would highly recommend staying here of bites.

Good for the price
Overall it was a nice cabin/ area. Location was great and close to everything in DL. Microwave died with 2 days to go on our rental and was told it would be replaced the next day.. it wasn't and when we contacted them again, the owner said they decided to order one instead of getting us one to use. With 4 kids on vacation and a very small oven a microwave is a big deal. Also, some areas of the cabin could have used updating before renting out. Spiders and ants were plentiful and the bunk houses not having AC made the nights in there very unpleasant for the kids (during our stay it was 90 degrees for half week). Not having fishing poles or water toys/ tubes was also disappointing. We loved the proximity to the lake and the discounted price, but you get what you pay for.
