“Lovely property with exceptional views, close to town of Soufriere, friendly and accommodating staff. The road in to the property was a little bumpy and rocky but still definitely accessible. Good sized room with comfortable bed and nice kitchen area. Roosters were a little noisy! We would stay there again.”

“Allting kring boendet funkade väldigt bra, kontakt innan, incheckning, hjälp med taxi från flygplatsen osv. Vi fick till och med en uppgradering av rummet när det fanns plats över. Paret som sköter hotellet är trevliga och hjälpsamma. Rummen är äldre och inte i samma klass som resort. Man får vad man betalar för och för oss som mest sover i rummet och äter frukost räckte det gott och väl. Klart lägre standard än scandic hemma, men de rummen anser vi vara bättre än det mesta...

“if you like peace and quite this is the spot. the views are amazing. going to sleep listening to the waves crash...priceless. the property is not perfect but who cares. its small stuff... the floors and the deck need to be updated. and the exterior could use a pressure wash. but the house was great. “Our family of 5 stayed at Maison des Etoiles for 2 nights (kids age 3, 5, 8). The house is amazing! The views, the open air, the staff - so peaceful and relaxing, truly special. My favorite part was the master bedroom and waking up looking out to the Petit Piton - so magical. Only caveat for little kids: you do need to keep a close eye on them as building codes in St Lucia are not as strict. Mary was wonderfully welcoming and cooked a tasty meal for us on arrival day. “Our stay at the Treehouse hideaway was just what we had hoped. The communication from Keith the owner and then Damion during our stay was great. The house had everything you need and well equipped. Aircon in the bedroom was just what we needed. We also had the dinner prepared by the housekeeper which I can’t recommend enough - you will have leftovers for days as well. “Another amazing visit. Vinel, Sorin, Gregory, Daelisha (sp), Mike, Garvin, George were all kind, professional and responsive even when I extended my stay. Great view, customer service, delicious food and secluded location. In the future, I’d love a cleaner pool, extra towels and little amenities such as a dust pan and brown and extra garbage bags for the kitchen. Would definitely suggest this spot over a resort. ”

“To start off you almost a four-wheel drive vehicle to get to the property because it's up the side of a mountain on a little tiny very rough very steep deer trail. The property manager allowed outside guests to come and had very very loud drunken pool parties.”

The trip we will never forget

"Our stay at Sugar Beach was excellent. At the beautiful location between the Pitons we were greeted by our friendly butler who had prepared a nice welcoming for me and my pregnant wife. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and attentive to my wife’s needs. We tried all the different restaurant options and everything from the lunch burger to the steak dinner was great. We especially appreciated the breakfast with all its options and peaceful atmosphere. Waking up to the sounds of tropical birds and the gentle breeze stroking the trees made the entire experience very calming and relaxing. Even though the beach itself was quite small, it didn’t feel crowded in any way. The white sand and clear water was dreamy and beautiful. Leaving Sugar Beach we spent time talking to our driver who provided us with so many fun facts about the island. He also told us about the community work that Sugar Beach does, which made our visit and feelings towards the hotel even more positive. My wife and I will definitely come back and next time we will bring our daughter."
