“It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. ”

“Our stay in Newport was very comfortable in the three bedroom, two bath space. The kitchen and living room were just as pictured and in great shape. Parking across the street was a great bonus. The third bedroom (downstairs) was very spacious, but a bit drafty since it opened to an unheated storage area and outside. The second bath shower was tiny for my 6'3" frame. Great restaurants, and coffee shops close by. Chris is a wonderful host.”

“I booked this trip to celebrate my engagement with family and friends. The house was beautiful and in an amazing location with lots of privacy. The host was super nice and helpful and very responsive to our questions. We were able to put up a tent in the yard with plenty of room as well. We would definitely recommend this house to others, for the location, home itself, and amazing hosts. ”

“The property could not have been better as a place for our family to gather for a wedding. It was centrally located for easy walking, while the parking was a godsend when we needed to drive. The first floor is a great common space, while there are lots of bedroom options upstairs. Only disappointment was that the double bed mattress in the northeast 2nd floor bedroom sagged into the middle more than even the happily married couple wanted it to. Might be worth considering replacing it. Otherwise...

“Solo weekend retreat at this idyllic 8-acre Christmas tree farm was quiet and a nice re-set / nod to simpler times. Visited in January and it snowed while I was touring the farm! Perfect set-up for one person or a couple. Would actually move in permanently - it was that lovely! Location is right near four corners/groundswell, so you are equal parts secluded and connected to local shops/cafes. There were even goats, one of which I nicknamed Tom Brady. Looking good in retirement Tom! Take it...

“When booking online it is often difficult to be assured that the information presented is accurate. In this case it really was; this truly is a stunning home in a secluded spot; even the wildlife was welcoming! We were there in winter and had a snow storm keeping us indoors for half of our weekend but that did not detract from our enjoyment at all, in fact, it added to the ambiance of our weekend. The only downside, if there was one, was the approach road being unpaved and muddy when we arrived;...
