“We were there to celebrate a birthday and relax after a stressful few months, the weather was good, so it was relaxing around the pool. Location is good, plenty of good restaurants wishing walking distance, so no need to worry about driving to go out for a meal and a few drinks. As it I an older property the rooms are spacious.”

“Great property, location and amenities. Beautiful water views from apartment bedrooms and balcony. There were a few members of the public congregating outside the property after hours talking into the early hours so there was a bit of noise but that’s outside Mantra’s control. Everything else was perfect for a comfortable and value for money stay. Undercover parking a bonus to keep cars secure from theft and in case of storms. Highly recommended and happy to stay again - thank you!”

“Great location with basically a private beach right on our doorstep! Spent a lot of time on the balcony looking over the water & boats. We even caught two whiting from our beach house! Ryan was a great communicator & Grant made us very welcome & couldn’t help us enough & his dog was just gorgeous !”

“Bra hotell med allt vi behövde.”

“We had a great few day's away here with family to celebrate my Mum's 70th birthday. The house was beautiful and we loved being able to look at the water everyday. There's plenty to do and see if you have the time. Plenty of shops close by, Salamander Bay Square is great and has everything you need. I needed help a few times and contacting someone was very easy, they were polite and able to help. We look forward to staying here again ”

“ the place was lovely and clean, quiet and had everything I needed. Airconditioner controls placed too high up on the wall, also Kettle place up very high in cupboard above the refrigerator. Being small had to climb on a chair to reach not good for OHS”

“We had a lovely stay at Wanda Point where the views were stunning and the house was comfortable and furnished beautifully. With the beach just across the road and a quiet neighborhood it was a perfect location”

“This is the 5th time Ive stayed at the property in the last 6yrs and once again it was very enjoyable. Whilst the overall condition of the property has gradually gone downhill a bit the location and price cannot be matched. Located directly opposite the beach its the perfect summmer location.”

“Place and location was nice Few suggestions- need more towels as only given 2 shower towels per room for 2 days - as couples in room will stay ( need 4 at least ) Lots of insects around - need pest control ”

A rather ho-hum experience

"Rather standard motel, with good A/C and a large bed. The room wasn’t sufficiently clean as we found a discarded prawn on the floor under the bathroom vanity and there were hairs on the floor and in the bathroom. The sheets had holes in them (although the bed was comfortable) and the room was large and generous, with a big balcony too. No breakfast included, restaurant wasn’t even open in the morning and it felt like we just got milked for the fact it was high season. The level of service and standard of cleanliness while not being directly bad did leave a bit to be desired."
