“Great experience. We loved visiting Manitoulin and staying at Siver Lake. The eastern part of the island is relaxing. The house was perfect for two families, quite comfortable and nicely decorated. I bother Meng and Mike with various questions and they were super responsive and supportive. We mostly drove around visiting Manitoulin’s main sites but found time to swim at Silver Lake, enjoy the hot tub and the outdoor fire place. Highly recommended! ”

“An absolutely perfect week! The cottage is lovely and very well equipped and it was only a short walk to the gorgeous sandy beach which was never crowded while we were there. Our host Dean was quick to answer any questions we had and was very proactive with all the information needed for our stay. I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!”

“Our family had a great week-long stay at this beautiful cottage in Tobermory. The property has a remote feel, but was only a short drive to Tobermory amenities and attractions. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, visiting Flower Pot island and the museum, hiking, seeing the Grotto, and dining at the many food trucks and restaurants in the area. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well-furnished with amazing views.”

“If you're looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful house, this will do nicely. Very secluded and quiet but close enough to everything you'd want to do. If hiking and rocky shorelines are your thing, better spend some extra time there...lots of that. There are some "touristy" things to do in town...boat tours, shops, restaurants etc. Tobermory Brew Company was our favorite...lamb burger was excellent. FYI...don't ask for medium or rare burgers. Its apparently a no no with the...

“It was worth the price. The place was modern nicely renovated well kept and clean. We stayed for one night with friends. The place had all cooking equipment and a bbq machine to easily make our meals. The waterfront in the back was nice in the evening and early morning. Clean towels. Clean bedrooms with comfortable bedding sand pillows. Washer and dryer were helpful after coming from the beach. About 20 minutes drive to Tobermory downtown. Easy communication with the property manager. Overall it...

“Spent a long weekend on a girls trip and loved our stay at Tim, Dave and Cinder’s place. The accommodations were spacious, very clean and the hosts have done an excellent job of equipping the space with thoughtful and practical details to maximize our stay. “The property itself was amazing and its location in Tobermory is perfect. It's 3 mins walking away from Bruce Anchor and 20 mins driving from the Grotto. The harbor is just 10 minutes to walk. The host was great and the property, the rooms and the kitchen were nicely maintained. The BBQ wasn't clean and didn't use it either. But the rest was awesome! If we ever come back to Tobermory, we'll certainly book again the same place. ”

“My friends and I had a great time at this location. When we arrived the house was clean and had proper amenities. The rooms were adequate and cozy. There were fresh linens and pillows. The lake front view was our favorite. The water was fresh and it was quite shallow. The viewing dock was fabulous and allowed us rest during our swim. We all enjoyed out stay. ”

“Pros: Great location on the peninsula. Beautiful sunsets, great kayaking, close to town. Cons: In desperate need of repair. Broken window cranks, broken or missing closet doors, holes in bathroom walls, sliding doors stuck/difficult to open. Unkept property. Construction debris in back yard, old outdoor cushions laying on ground, yard covered (and I do mean covered) in goose poop. Low quality and/or missing amenities. Thin and stained towels, only 1 garbage bag, soap dispensers that (I believe)...

“The name of the property really suits. We enjoyed watching the sunset every night which was followed by a bonfire and smores. Daytime activities included a lot of kayaking and trips to local shops. Would definitely go again. ”
