“Small but perfect cabin for two people. Right on the water. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable queen bed. Loved sitting on the deck watching fishing boats, an eagle and families out in their kayaks.”

“Our stay at Shyna and Michael’s beautiful cliff-side home was perfect. The house is clean and comfortable with everything well appointed. We spent a lovely late afternoon/ evening taking in the panorama and gorgeous sunset. Our host prepared a special Indian dinner - really authentic and scrumptious. ”

“This treehouse was a really nice stay for our daughter and her new husband! They loved how cute it was and the location was really beautiful. When we originally booked the stay a while back, we did not know that the property was shared outside. I think the listing reflects that more now. There were some issues with the door locking from the inside, but other than that, they had a great stay!”

“My mom and I stayed for Thanksgiving night. We arrived about 30 mins early and the host was kind enough to allow access. Good thing since we both needed the restroom after a long drive to get there. Thank you!!! We both brought our dogs, played games, ate Beechers Mac n Cheese, drank wine and stayed comfortably warm with the wood fire. Such a cute place, well equipped and easy to find. ”

“I’ve stayed in many short term rental properties and this was, hands down, one of the very best. The words “cute” and “cozy” best capture the essence, but the Captain’s Quarters is so much more. “The rental was absolutely wonderful, beautiful views, convenient to Sequim and lots of activities, shopping and food! The home was spotless and had everything you could need! Judy was a wonderful host and very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay there again when we get a chance! Weather was great too for an added bonus!”

Severely overpriced for what you get

"A severely overpriced motel in a rotten state, cashing in on the fact that it sits at the gates to Olympic. The rooms were worn down, the pool area horrendous, and the general vibe just awful. Cleanliness can also be discussed - I did see a very large bug, very likely a cockroach, run off to hide under our bed. Considering the price point, not at all worth it. In retrospect, I would have gladly paid twice as much for a better hotel experience. "
