“Property is very nice , very comfortable. Needs temp hotter on water. There is a step down at front door you cannot see in the dark and another one inside at front door you won’t be ready for if not made aware of in advance. Other than that we loved the home , very spacious, beds were good. We would stay again. ”

“For a family with a variety of ages this house was great. It was too cold, and the lake was too low, for swimming or boating. We had plenty of room to spread out, cooked plenty in the well stocked kitchen, relaxed, read a lot and played lots of games. The darts, ping pong and shuffleboard were popular. I would stay again. ”

“We enjoyed our visit. Home is well equipped and was clean. Manager was very receptive. Has plenty of cooking equipment. Has a grill, but we didn't use it. The only issue, and it's not the owner's fault, but we brought our dogs, and the dogs across the road were running loose almost the whole time, so we had to keep our dogs on the deck whenever we were outside. Lots of loose dogs in the area made it difficult to walk the dogs as well. That said, I would recommend the property, just keep an eye...

“We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner.”

“We stayed at this home for 3 nights with our 7 grandchildren ages 1 1/2 to 13. They all had a wonderful time! There was so much for them to do. The water lily pad was a hit, as well as fishing from the grounds. We brought a remote control motorboat and used it in the canal. “My large extended family of 16 stayed in this home three nights for our yearly family vacation. The location is beautiful and comes with 2 kayaks and multiple paddle boards that the kids really enjoyed. It has a perfect place for the kids to swim directly off the front yard with large shade trees. We did run into some issues but after working with the host we were able to get things worked out.”
