“The Kruse House did not disappoint-the vrbo description was clear and accurate. Perfect for 2 couples or small family. It was a great place to stay while we visited family in the Clinton area for our brother’s 80th birthday. We would definitely recommend the Kruse House and hope to return in the future”

“We had a church group attending a conference in the area. Most of us were up at the Renwick, but the guest house was a great inexpensive option for three extra bedrooms. The house is quaint and well kept. ”

“Friendliest staff! Beautiful cozy Cabin! Loved my jetted bathtub! Terrific view. Quaint town! Close to major city. The Stars were so BRIGHT!!! Cozy fire place kept cabin warm along with central heating cooling and tons of ceiling fans. So Romantic and most of all peaceful 😌 ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this little house on Campbell Island. Everything in the previous comments was true so I went in knowing and none of it bothered us because we were looking for a peaceful stay near the river and that's exactly what we got! Communication with host was great! Thank you!! We will be keeping this on our radar for the future. ”

“We were in town visiting family and wanted to bring our dog. This property was dog friendly (even left treats for him), very clean and the location was great (right off a main road about 1 minute from the main highway). One of the main bike paths is even located right across the street. I would definitely recommend staying here.”

“Great place to stay”

“We were a group of Fishermen that were fishing BFL Regionals on the Mississippi. Driveway was a little tight to back a boat in being on a busier street, but is manageable. House was clean and very comfortable, and the host was very responsive and accommodating when we asked for a grill he made sure one was on site by time of arrival. Would definitely stay there again.”

“This property was everything that we were looking for. From the quiet neighborhood to the stunning sunset over the river, to the luxurious bathtub and cozy living room. Absolutely the perfect "home away from home". The owners were super communicative and helpful. We will absolutely be staying here again son! ”

“The home was perfect for a girls weekend with three of us. The pictures were accurate. The kitchen was well stocked, everything worked well and lots of appliances. Hot tub was amazing! Beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again. ”
