âA beautiful unique place right at the sand dunes. The description "connected with a shopping center" is wrong, there is no shopping center. It is connected with a well-equipped camping site. The last stretch of the access road goes across sand, unpaved. Camel rides are right next door. Beautiful sunsets, sky full of stars, open-fire barbeque for delicious food which comes in huge portions and with many tasty sides. âWe were offered a private tour in the desert from the kind host. The tour was with Ibrahim who drove us to the dunes, across the desert and to the nomads living there. Ibrahim took good care of us and we highly recommend the tour. â

âThe staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. I wish it'd been more authentic and less "fancy". I should also warn that the heat does not and has not worked in the camp in some time. We...

âCamels, and 4X4âs, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough.
Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. Thank you AlĂ and everyone else for giving us a memorable few days in Africa!â

âWhat an incredible experience this was. Hafid and his staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The setting was spectacular and peaceful. The staff was so friendly and hospitable. The drum circle was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed learning about the culture. A once in a lifetime experience. â
