Hide Away Log Cabin nestled in a serene setting in Beautiful Bath County, Va.

If you're looking for a quite, secure and lovely vacation that is Pet Friendly and close to nature then this is the spot. Our log cabin has a large covered front porch with 2 rocking chairs and a large deck on the back of the cabin with a table and 4 chairs. The cabin is heated and cooled for year around use. It also has a Jotel wood stove and firewood is available for $20.00 per wood box full. Please let the owners know in advance if you want firewood and it will be available when you check in. The cabin has a fully functional kitchen, with a double sink, bar with bar stools, microwave and stocked with everything you need to prepare your favorite meal. The bath has a Beautiful Hand Carved Red Wood sink, a full size tub and shower and commode. It is fully furnished with everything you need except your personal items. The down stairs bedroom has a twin bed and a full size closet. There is a dining room table with chairs located next to the kitchen. The living room features a Beautiful Antler Chandelier and an entertainment center with satellite TV and WY Fi There's a beautiful wooden staircase that leads to the loft which has a queen size bed overlooking the Beautiful Antler Chandelier that lights up the living room area. This bedroom also has a lounge chair for relaxing after a long day exploring the beautiful outdoors. There is a washer and dryer in the basement that is available for long term visitors ( 5 days or more). You're only 15 minutes from The World Renowned Omni Homestead, 3.7 miles from the Warm Springs Pools, 60 miles from Snowshoe Resort and 1 hour from The Greenbrier in White Sulphur, West Va. This cabin is located 10 minutes from the U S Forest Service Hidden Valley Recreational Area which has trout fishing, bird watching, hiking and mountain bike trails. Your only 30 minutes from Lake Moomaw which has boating, fishing, tubing, picnicking and camping. This cabin has it's own private entrance, parking area and also an out building to park your Mt. bikes in. Bath County has something for everyone and we would love to have you come stay with us.

Sister getaway
This cabin was the perfect, quiet, cozy spot for my sister and I to charge our batteries away from our kids for a few days. Lots of love has been poured into each detail. The trails on the property are really nice! Check in/out was easy.

Spotless, cozy cabin
My wife and I stayed at John and Linda’s cabin for a couple of nights. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. It is about a 10 minute drive to town but still quiet and peaceful. We got to use the wood stove to stay, although it’s not necessary because the cabin has excellent heating. John and Linda were very responsive whenever we needed anything. We’d definitely return.

An adorable cabin in an amazing location!
This was my and my mom's third time in the area. We absolutely loved the cabin! The property is beautiful and it is a super short drive to the Warm Spring Pools and other attractions, stores, etc in the area. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Cabin Getaway!
Me and my two best friends of 24+ years try to take an annual fall trip together, to celebrate our fall birthdays and spend time with eachother. I thankfully stumbled on this VRBO post, as it was the perfect mix of "away from it all" and "has a kitchen for cooking meals together" and a TV for "Halloween movie marathon" when we were tired of hiking the trails around the BEAUTIFUL property and soaking at the nearby Warm Springs. The cabin was clean, the towels and linens plush and comfortable, and plenty of extra blankets for curling up on the couch! Fair warning, the neighbors have a few donkeys who like to "bray" pretty loud, which scared the heck out of us at first as we were enjoying hors d'oeuvres on the lovely back deck! Once we realized what the sound was, the occasional bray didn't bother us a bit!

This little cabin in the woods was a gem of a find. This quaint cabin is cuter than the pictures, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the rockers on the front porch and hiking on the trails on the property. We look forward to visiting again.

Sweet Little Cabin
We had such a great stay at the Hideaway Cabin. Although it was a short 3 night stay we felt very at home. We made dinner one night and breakfast all three mornings and there was everything needed to cook what we brought with us. The beds were cozy and the entire canin had a very cozy feel.

Perfect Vacation
This was our second stay at the cabin. We stayed an entire week this time and would have liked to have stayed longer. Hiking trails are nearby and very easy to get to. The cabin is surrounded by beautiful mountains and forests, but the supermarket and Warm Springs Baths are an easy drive down the road. The cabin is cozy and comfortable and the hosts are helpful and friendly. We will be back again next year!
