“Fantastic place totally out of the ordinary. Five-star attention by the staff made us feel welcome from the start. Great romantic room and Full English breakfast served at the table. We had dinner in the cosy restaurant with a menu leaning heavily on seafood, for obvious reasons. After a walk along the seafront we came back for a coffee in the nice pub-part of the restaurant. “Our second stay in this group of Boutique Hotels, and we were given a complimentary upgrade which was amazing!. The group of hotels have a small number of rooms, which makes them ideal for a quiet stay and the rooms are lovely and comfy. We had breakfast included which was nice and as part of their chain there is a local pub just up the road to have a meal in, should you choose. We had Sunday dinner there was lovely. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and helpful, overall 5 stars all day...

“A 1 night stay at this well run establishment situated in a suburban street in Portsmouth. We opted for the secure gated parking, which was well worth doing. It is a safe well lit area about 10 minutes walk from the restaurants and pubs in town and very convenient for The Kings Theatre where we were attending a comedy show. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly and the cooked breakfast was spot in. We would definitely stay again. ”

“The bed in my first room was dreadful, I found several hairs in the sheets and comfortable as sleeping on the floor. In addition, the hot water did not work in the shower - I felt kind of ripped off - better standard should be expected even though it is an English hotel. After complaining a couple of times they moved me to the family suite which had an descent bed and hot water, which saved my week. The receptionists were always friendly despite my unhappy mood after my first night.”

“Such a wonderful little hotel in an ideal location. 5 minute walk from the pier and arcades, 15 minutes or so to both shopping centres ( Gunwharf/cascades ) with the theatre being even closer if that is included in your poa for your time away! Lovely clean rooms, quite a personal experience with only me and my wife with the owner at breakfast but we liked it that way. Would recommend to anyone and will be back soon! Also lovely bar and atmosphere for drinks in the evening.”
