The pictures do give you an idea of what things look like but upon further inspection or should I say as you look at it with you own eyes, my opinion of the home changed drastically. Upon my arrival, my GPS told me this was the house. I had trouble believing it. In comparison to the other homes on the block this was the worse one, from having no curbside appeal to (very bad) peeling paint on the door and the orange sticker on the door from the city. which I had to decipher that had to do with the concrete step outside the home. On the sticker it read Not Approved For Occupancy because of the concrete stairs It was obvious that the step outside was new concrete. When I entered it had an old and moldy stench that was so overbearing that I wanted to leave, and I did. To buy all the cleaning supplies I could think of to rid the home of the smell and to do some neglected cleaning. I think if we had any breathing problems or allergies that would have been my cue to leave. We did make use of fans that were throughout the house, they were attached to a hose that was secured to windows in the rooms they were in. There were NO carbon monoxide or smoke detectors in the home. I was able to enjoy my family despite the home itself. This is my first review of anything I felt a strong desire to do so in hopes that the owner will read this and consider investing more into the comfort that one should feel when they enter his home away from their home.
