Oh the neighborhood
What a great stay for a long weekend. Only a block away from amazing restaurants and a couple of blocks from bus and train stops.The host was top of the line, responding quickly to communication, kept the steps, stairs, and sidewalk cleared of snow, and provided lots of snacks and amenities. Our only incident was the poor choices of the upstairs tenants the first night with a loud and long lasting party. That is not the fault of the host or VRBO just the risk of a building with multiple apartments. Overall, I loved my stay here and it was a fabulous addition to my Chicago memories.

Little Italy Gem!
The property was well maintained, decorated and stocked. The accomodations were very comfortable. The location was ideal as it was close to the Polk station and many restaurants. I would highly recommend Stax for breakfast. nts.

Dreamy home-away-from-home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Mr. Walsh was responsive, his offering was exactly like the listing - even better, actually! We were spoiled with all the amenities and small details that truly transformed this family trip into a joyously memorable experience. Thank you to John and his crew, we loved everything about staying here! Close to all of the great food spots in Little Italy, transit is easy to navigate to and from, and every room was beautifully adorned and maintained.

Great location
Great location walking distance of restaurants and some nightlife. Good neighborhood very safe college kids walking the streets not occasion. Are you really lazy lots of amenities more than usual in places like this and enjoyed our state would stay there again

Absolutely amazing!
We had the best long weekend at John’s! The property is in such a beautiful neighborhood, we walked to multiple restaurants and coffee shops. Uber rides are short and easy to all the fun touristy things to do in Chicago! Check out is an absolute breeze. We highly recommend his home and we will be back!!!

Place fine. Host not.
The listed address is different from the actual property address (just next door), which made the check-in process unclear. I ended up in an apartment in the next door building trying to figure out what was going on, and the guys living in that apartment helped clarify the situation. Apparently I was the third guest in less than two weeks that had the same issue and went to their place. I had messaged the host and he got back to me while I was talking to the guys who helped me. When I arrived at the actual apartment, host was waiting outside, yelling at me saying he had texted me. There was no "good evening" or "sorry for the confusion". When I tried to talk, he waved his hands in the air and left slamming the door behind him. I've never had a host being this rude in my life. Place was fine, tiny rooms but nice otherwise. Still, I couldn't care less, since I won't be back to that place or any other managed by that host.

Beautiful condo, great place to stay in Chicago
We loved staying in this condo in Chicago. The tree lined streets were very pretty in the autumn (fall). The bedrooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed - loved the little chocolates! The bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. Walking distance to eating places and shops.

Our stay at your property was a great experience. Plenty of amenities to fit our needs. The neighborhood was quiet and very safe. We used Uber to get to things and it was a quick ride! I feel comfortable in recommending this property.

Made the trip extra special
Such a great place to stay. Plenty of space and very clean. Host was extremely accommodating and worked with our arrival and departure times. The neighborhood is beautiful, lots of park space and beautiful tree lined streets. We walked down to the lake every day, got lots of steps in, weather was perfect for our stay.

Enjoyed this stay a lot!
This vrbo was very nice and communication with the host was great. We had two cars which the host was able to accommodate. I have two minor complaints about our stay - first, this is a multi residence building so you can expect to hear others move around upstairs. Second, the floor is quite creaky which wasn’t pleasant for us as we moved around the place. Those two small complaints aside, I think this was a great property in a great location. I would definitely recommend it!

Home away from home
The owner greeted us upon our arrival after making every effort to accommodate our early arrival. We LOVED the house as it far exceeded our expectations. There was nothing that we needed that was not there. Not only was there a Keurig but ground coffee, canisters of sugar and creamer and candy in an extremely well-equipped kitchen. Bathrooms had so many washcloths and towels and even shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower on the wall. And if that's not enough, 2 bathrobes were hanging in each bedroom. The location is fantastic in a beautiful and safe part of town, just a block from some great eating places. I would not hesitate to stay here again and in fact, it will be the first option on my return trip to Chicago!

Great Little Apartment!
I recently stayed at this property with my daughter for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The location was conveniently accessible to the McCormick Center, where we attended a trade show, with Uber rides costing approximately $20 each way. We were very pleased with the neighborhood, which was clean, tree-lined, and had a youthful atmosphere. The proximity to a college and hospital meant there were many professionals in the area. Additionally, there were several nice bars just a block away, and the Little Italy theme added to the charm. A highlight of our stay was a small breakfast and lunch café on Taylor Street, Stax Cafe. I highly recommend it for its cleanliness and excellent food. The property itself was very clean and well-equipped with essentials such as towels and coffee. It also had won numerous Michillen recommendations as well. One suggestion for improvement would be to add a curtain on the window above the door leading to the back stairwell. Thank you for providing such a beautiful place; I would definitely stay here again.

Stylish, comfortable, lots of amenities
My friends and I thought John’s place was the perfect spot for our Chicago visit. John provided lots of amenities from coffee and supplies to toiletries, mirrors in every room, robes, games, and more. Two of the bedrooms were like little cocoons that made for a cozy sleep. The other was larger but equally comfortable. Everything was clean and John checked up on us throughout. The unit was a short ride to all the best stuff, too.

Excellent!
We stayed here for a long weekend for a concert and it was perfect! The property was very clean and well stocked. Like seriously, they provided so much stuff even little snacks that was super helpful for us all coming and going everyday for different events in the city. The neighborhood was nice and seemed safe. The communication between me and the owner was great. He was very friendly and helpful. I have 0 complaints about this property listing and will definitely use it again when coming back to Chicago.
