“We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The grounds were quiet and seemed very safe - we did hear the trains a few times, but with a white-noise speaker and some soft earplugs, it didn't bother us or the dogs at all. If...

“The staff in the morning taking care of the breakfast area was very friendly and great. I wish the front desk was a little more friendlier. I didn't see any brochures for things to do in the area up front when you come in. You had them down the hall in a cubby area by the washer and dryer.”

“Gorgeous property for sure. I can say though, paying 400$ for two nights and having the handle to the utility closet being broken and not secured is a little frustrating but not so much to the point I wouldn’t stay here again. Things happen so I chalked it up to that, however it’s a wonderful property. A LOT of construction so while that may irritate some people it is definitely a good sign for the future of the resort.
