“Lovely rural setting, nicely redone farm building with necessary amenities. Internet and satellite tv connection was very poor, unfortunately.Owner indicated it was weather related. Also beware that road to property is very narrow with blind spots. ”

The drive up the hill is a little hairy - glad we were in a robust vehicle! Barmouth is a small seaside town with lots of independent shops and cafes.”

“An absolute beautiful property perfect for a family get together. The property is very well presented and cleanliness is second to none. Its a very well equipped property with everthing you could ever need. The games room was superb and all the family enjoyed. The layout of the property is perfect and there are lots of seating areas if you are looking to relax. Checkin process was super simple and the host is always on hand if required. We had an amazing stay and would 100% stay here again.”

The only thing i can fault is the listing said there was a hot tub and upon arrival this was not the case. Which is a shame as this was a major reason of us booking. The layout with most of the accommodation and living space upstairs allowed us to have a separate space for our family one of which has an infant to have separate space downstairs next to the games room. The property need a few maintenance issues dealing with including one of the beds needing a repair and the sofa bed upholstery needing renewal to make it more comfortable to sit on. “An outstanding property in an outstanding part of Wales. I love the property and would be quite happy living there. Sadly I was only there for three nights. I stayed when it was very cold and I didn't mind the outside toilet but the shower was another matter on a cold morning. I would love to experience this in the summer months. “A great place to stay as a base for many hikes and other adventures in the area. Nice contact with Lynn, the owner. She response very quickly. The cottage is clean and well furnished, everything you need is there. The only "problem" is parking. You can park in front of the house in a narrow streets, but so can everyone. You might have a chance there is no parking available and you have to park on the pay and display parking 3 minutes from the cottage. But, outside that, we had e great stay...
