This amazing townhouse is a two-bedroom, one bath, waterfront townhome vacation rental in Cedar Key. It is just a short walk from the City park beach and all the restaurants and shops. More importantly it is just about as close to the Gulf as any lodging can get. The balcony doors open to the sound of gentle waves lapping on the rocks below. These calm waters will soothe your soul.
The entry leads up to the main level of the townhome. Here is the living, dining, kitchen great room with sliding glass doors opens onto the waterfront balcony. The kitchen is fully furnished for cooking. We have Cuisinart appliances and Keurig Coffee maker. We have a side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range and oven, and even a George Forman grill. The living room is open to the Gulf breezes and the salty sea air and has a queen couch bed. The balcony is sunny and warm year round.
The top floor is home the the bedrooms and bath. The master bedroom with king size bed is waterfront with glass doors and private balcony overlooking the panoramic Gulf of Mexico. The guest bedroom has a queen bed. The Bathroom has a walk in shower with sliding glass doors.
We offer Spectrum TV service. Free wi-fi. Washer & Dryer as well.
Here you are blessed to actually witness the real island life. From your balconies you'll see a constant display of the Cedar Key watermen & women coming and going from the nearby clam leases. These hard working clam farmers make the trip to and from their leases directly in front of the townhomes. They harvest their clams daily. The wake created by these bird dog boats laps onto the rocks below.
The townhome has a very small rock and sand and shell beach next door where you can sit in the sand and launch your kayaks.
Please bring water shoes because you will probably want to explore on the rocks here. The sea wall and rocks are great places to see marine life up close at low tide.
The parking here is limited so keep this in mind when you plan your trip. We share with seven other units and everyone must have access. One car or truck is best and more than two vehicles is not advised. There is however adequate parking under your unit for golf carts.
-Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying
-Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways
-Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic
-Parties and/or events are not allowed
-No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke
-Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal
-$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit
-Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom
-Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance
-Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout.
-Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more.
-Please don’t rearrange the furniture.
-Please do your dishes.
-No illegal substances allowed on premises.
