“My wife and I came down for a last minute trip to escape the tough winter weather in Upstate New York. A welcome respite. The place is great for 2 people-overlooking the beach and pool. Could be a little tight if you had more people. Clean, updated and easy walking distance to town. Captiva is still in a rebuilding mode after the two hurricanes last fall but that wasn’t a big deal for us. Spent most of our time at the pool or walking the beach. ”

“This unit was beautiful & had everything we needed. We appreciated/read the books and games on site, along with beach towels. The property was a short walk out to the beautiful beach or pool area. We used the grills one evening to eat in & loved that convenience. It was super easy to communicate with the rental company and they were very helpful. The restaurants on Captiva were great:Green Flash and Mucky Duck were our favorites.”

“First of all we were disappointed on entering the house as the photos were inaccurate. Instead of light and bright colours and furnishings in the living room, the sofas were darker and uncomfortable. I appreciate there’s been a hurricane but the house could do with some tlc. The dishwasher didn’t clean well, the blinds were broken, the valances on some beds were badly torn, carpets could do with a clean etc. upstairs shower in double room wasn’t very good, however, beach towels and bathroom...
