“This is a cute and friendly guesthouse. That’s it! There is nothing 5star about it but they claim it and charge for it. Preposterous! The location is right next to a township like area, in the outskirts of paternoster. Keep away! The guest house is chabby chick and crammed with things, everywhere. African, Asian, artisan - You name it. Nothing holds it together and it just gives a very cluttered impression. There are no commodities as per 5star. The beds were ok but the pillows are...

“It was great but I used most for sleeping because spent the day out. The shower water flow needs an improvment and the room needs some extra blockout curtains because as the sun rises the light in the room makes impossible to sleep. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and all was clean and confortable. I really enjoyed my stay.”

“Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride! The balcony even had views of the lagoon. There’s a serene koi pond in the back, and pool as well. Most of all, I felt safe as a solo female. May God bless this...
