“Gorgeous property and location. Nice rooms but missing fundamentals for a 5 star hotel...for example, ice bucket, possibility to make coffee or tea, etc. Also disappointed at the system for reserving lounge chairs around the pool. Nearly everything is taken before 9am by guests who belong to certain clubs, or who pay more, which seems unfair to guests who already pay a premium to stay at such a resort.”

“The staff at the property are amazing and make the experience excellent. We never had a negative experience with Dreams staff. The entertainment team is so fun, bartenders and wait staff are attentive, the back of the house staff are friendly and keep the resort running smoothly. The property itself is aging. Some cleanliness issues in the room and around the resort, but overall a pretty clean place considering how busy they were when we were there.”

“Grand Velas was absolutely fabulous! We brought our 3 kids and we were spoiled from day one. Our personal concierge Blair was phenomenal. Friendly, professional and attentive to anything we needed. Typically we avoid all inclusive resorts because we enjoy higher quality dining and drinks - we decided to try Grand Velas based on other great reviews and we are so glad we did! We also have to give a shout out to Isabella who served us by the pool, she was fantastic!”
