“Great location as always quiet area ”

“Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. They told me Expedia had not paid them enough, my booked room wasn't available and this is all I could have - what a scam! The place was empty and the excuse was an obvious lie. Refused to accept the room...

“The property is beautiful and serene, the front desk staff need a little more training as instead of checking for my bookings first asked me to prove that I had booked and paid online. In fact they assured me that I would be put out as all rooms were filled up, when I asked to talk to their manager is when they looked and found my name actually on the list. Otherwise my stay was lovely, I will go again with family n friends.”

“ Poor food...very slow when waiting for food...could be more than an hour. From Kampala more than one hour with taxi which also makes it expensive. Just 4 sunbeds at the pool without any umbrella for shade. The best thing is the scenic view of the lake and tranquility ”

“My stay at Saffron started out well. The pick up from the airport was timely and the car was clean. The driver, Brian, was very respectful and professional. The check-in process was flawless. Promise, the daytime receptionist was so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The meals were well prepared and they heeded to my requests of special meals due to my food allergies.
