“We spent a couple of days in Victoria mid week. The Inn is charming, our room was large and comfortable. The location is fabulous for exploring on foot and by car. We had a couple of issues with wifi and a shortage of electrical outlets, but they were resolved quickly and cheerfully. The breakfast is out of this world! Loved our time there.”

“our room was on the small side, but comfortable, The inn does have some charm and character. The in-house restaurant was hoppin' on the Saturday night that we were there. The full house meant it took a while to get our food but it was worth the wait. It's a conveniet base for exploring all the scenery, nature, hiking trails, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, etc, in the area.”

“ Historic Inn in a beautiful location. No TV or modern type amenities might bother some, but made for a very peaceful two evenings . Rooms are smaller due to age of the building but had a small private veranda . Brian at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed staying here. ”

“Alert Bay is a very nice very scenic costal community with lots of history. Gordie’s is right in the middle of it all, right on the water with excellent views of the ocean, sunsets are incredible. Food at the restaurant…the seafood linguine was amazing, sooo good! The room didn’t have a TV but who cares, things to look at were everywhere ”

“The property and grounds were good, well maintained and interesting, but there was no air conditioning ,the room was hot, the restaurant, bar and spa were closed. breakfast was adequate but unimaginative. the staff were present but were not attentive. It was as if they had already closed for the season and just going through the motions. a lot of money for just a room. not a great experience.”
