Great stay in Breckenridge
We had a great weekend getaway with friends at Sawmill Creek at the end of the ski season. It would be nice if the cancellation terms were a little more flexible (non refundable starting 2 weeks prior) but it was a great deal with nice space and amenities. It’s a great location with an easy walk to the gondola @ 10 min with ski gear and Main Street. We look forward to staying there again.

Great location!
Everything was great! Location is shuttle out, ski in. Shuttle stops are right at the condo and can get you to any part of the mountain. Skiing home for lunch or at the end of the day is awesome on the 4 oclock run. Highly recommend this rental!

The best thing about this condo is LOCATION...it's EXCELLENT for everywhere you want to go!! Only one block from Main Street and the Gondola. The condo itself is spacious, but VERY dated. The carpet and fabric couch were dirty, and the bedding did not smell clean. If you're looking to eat in...the kitchen is well equipped. Also...the guests in the condo above were very noisy, and apparently big "partiers". After 3 days of it, we reached out to the local police.

Wonderful stay
Warm & cozy condo, with plenty of room to relax. Very clean, had everything you could ever need in the kitchen, etc. Great location to Main St and Ski lifts. Would definitely stay here again. Check in is handled a little differently than most of our VRBO stays. We had to go to a different location (property managers office off Main st.) to pick up physical keys. Then when we checked out, we had to drop the keys off at that same location.

Remodeled Breckenridge Condo
This condo is in a great location. We enjoyed being a couple blocks from Main Street. The owners did a great job of updating the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The only constructive criticism I would have is the couch was uncomfortable and too low. It was stained and very hard to get out of. There was no other seating in the living room. My husband has a bad knee and couldn’t get up. He had to sit on a bar stool to watch tv all week. I would suggest a couple comfy chairs. The deck was great with a beautiful view. Again, I’d suggest a couple comfy chairs. Thank you for sharing your home with us. It made for a great vacation.

Great location and reasonable price for Breckenridge
this was a very clean, renovated condo in Sawmill Creek Condomiums. Check in and parking very simple and quick. Only negatives would be that there were zero pantry staples in the kitchen - and by that I mean not even salt and pepper! And the hot tub room was way too hot (not the hot tub itself, but the room it is in).

Property was great. Redone bathrooms and kitchen were beautiful. So close to town - easily walkable- which was great. Once we figured out which bus to take to get to peak 8 the commute to ski was not bad. Checkin was fine - requested a call if property was ready early and they never called but otherwise a lovely stay !

The condo was as advertised, and we would stay there again. The only drawback was the road construction and street noise. We probably should've stayed a bit further up the mountain, but overall the stay was good.

Easy walk to main street
Condo has been upgraded and everything is nice, new and clean. Great location, 3 block walk to just about everything in town. Not a whole lot of natural light and a little funky design with hallways and doors between the bedrooms and bathrooms but it works out fine. Couch is a little low and laid back for older people. Done a lot of these and it was actually kind of nice to grab the keys and info from a business in town.

Always love to be able to be just steps away from slope access, and the fun town of Breck. Able to walk to shops, rental shop, and have a hot tub available. Nicely kept condo w/ comfy beds :)

Issues with cleanliness and management
Showed up to check in at Great Western office but they did not have keys for property. Said they just started renting it. Told us to go to property and someone would show up with key. The property manager did show up and was nice man. When we went in, the property was not ready to be rented out. The layer of dust on master dresser, night stand and bed was insane. The beds were not made and stripped. There were 2 bags of sheets in closet. We have never had to make beds before, but we pulled the out thinking maybe we were supposed to make beds. But we found out bag was dirty sheets and even the other bag that was clean sheets had hairs all over them. There were no towels, only 2 floor mats. Next day we found that the washing machine did have towels in it, no idea how long those had been in there. There was food in freezer that was open and disgusting looking. Some of the food had sell dates of 6 months earlier. The dishwasher had dirty dishes in it. There was other food in pantry. The silverware in the drawer was sticky and we were afraid to use anything in the unit until cleaned. The property manager was responsive and apologetic. He brought new sheets but halfway through making bed had to leave to attend to a leak so we had to finish making beds. There were no directions on how how to work fireplace or TV's and that was another 30 minutes getting them to work The unit has potential but needs work. Did get a call from Great Western manager the next day. He did apologize. He offered to have cleaning crew go in and clean up, but at this point we had our stuff out and did not feel comfortable having them in our unit. The manager offered to refund the $160 cleaning fee and it is now a week later and have not seen that refund yet. They really should refund their entire fee for the rental because they literally did nothing to get this property rented
