“Property was clean and quiet. Beds were comfy. Some of the pans were not clean, but was able to clean prior to use. No can opener or lighter for the campfire, but we were able to make it all work. Could use some games or puzzles for rainy days. Overall a pleasant stay.”

“Arrived around 5 on Saturday. Great location. Once I figured out how to open key holder, we moved in. We enjoyed our cabin, found the information folders helpful. We had a nice fire and enjoyed our stay. Our suggestions for improvement. The light in the main room was very bright. A dimmer light switch would have been appreciated. Would like to have had a reading light on both sides of the bed.”

“We had a great week at Birchwood Cottages!! The cottage itself was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the kayaks, SUP boards, beach toys, etc that they have available for everyone to use. We were there during a major storm, and lost power. We immediately were checked on and assured that the generator was on so we would at least have water. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. My youngest is already asking for us to book for next summer.”

“Amazing cottage, lots of room, big open spaces, excellent kitchen and dining area, 2 fireplaces outside, outdoor patio with furniture. Fans in most rooms, huge beds, nice bedding, extra bedding and pillows, rooms were decorated well with a cottage theme. Full bedroom downstairs with king bed, downstairs also has a game room, sitting room, and washer and dryer. “Overall the cabin was great and as described. We enjoyed the lake, use of the kayaks, and sitting by the fire both inside and out. The pups enjoyed their time too. Amanda was great with information and answers to our questions. We had a hiccup from Mother Nature and Amanda was very communicative about it. Luckily for us, the power was turned on right before we arrived. Bed was comfortable. Shower is quite small especially for women who need to shave. Cell reception and wifi wasn’t the greatest....

“We really enjoyed our stay at Birchwood Cottages. The cabin was very quaint, clean and well kept. The pool table and ping-pong table in the rec room were a fun plus and the location was great and very easy to get to. Communication with the owners was excellent as well. We called to ask a question and received a call back immediately with the information that we needed. All in all, this was a very good value for the money.”

“Had trouble unlocking door because I was not familiar with key fob. Easy after that. Beds were very comfortable, even the sleeper sofa was. The coffee pot didn't work, but I didn't bother to notify Patrick as I was the only person that wanted hot coffee. Nice tight screened in porch, no bugs. Will be visiting that area again.”
