Balsam Hollow Cabin i Adirondacks

Balsam Hollow är en nybyggd, charmig rustik stuga som skapades från hjärtat för vår familj, vänner och dig. Från det yttre och inre träet, till träräcken på loftet, trappan och täckt veranda med omsluten däck, är vårt uppdrag att ge våra gäster en riktig Adirondack-upplevelse.

Du hittar en eldstad på den 10 tunnland stora fastigheten med en spår att åka längdskidor och vandra på.

Omgiven av naturen, avskilt och privat, men ändå centralt beläget till Saranac Lake, Lake Placid och Rainbow Lake med 25 mil anslutande vattenvägar.

Även om vi är undanstoppade är vi bara några minuter från så mycket äventyr! Skridskoåkning (dammstil eller -banor inklusive OS-ovalen i Lake Placid), Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort, Bobsled-åk, kälke, slädehundtur, båtliv, kanot, bergstränder, badhål, forsränning, vandring, mountainbike, och så mycket mer!

A gem 💎
My son and his wife family of girls 5,2, 5 months, and Mema, had more than enough room. Beautiful setting, wrap around porch with chairs and fire pit and plenty of wood to burn. Decor nice unique with cozy feeling. And like new. Kitchen adorable with all the necessary items. All cleaning items provided. There was even a bag of ice for us. General Dollar down the street for most needs. Bathroom is large and water pressure perfect. Plenty of towels and hairdryer. New washer/dryer. Bedrooms roomy but queen beds could be replaced, felt like old spring beds from childhood. Plenty of blankets and soft pillows and crisp clean sheets. Loved the string lites on the porch. And bright sunrise in the morning and moonlight at night through the big windows Would love to rent again .

Everything and More
This cute little cabin in the woods was a great find. Secluded and yet close to all convinces of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid with several trails close by. The cabin is cozy, super clean, with everything you need and then some in the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms and family room. A washer and dryer was a nice surprise. The wrap around porch with bbq is beautiful and restful. A fire pit behind the cabin was a nice addition. The owner Jill, was a gracious host and available when we needed to contact her, she was a joy to talk to and shared lots of information. Check in and check out was really easy. We would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants a carefree and restful vacation.

Cozy, Comfy Cabin
This was the perfect cabin for our stay in the Adirondacks. We wanted to visit the Olympic sites in Lake Placid and this cabin is less than 30 minutes away. However you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere with beautiful views of trees - which we loved. The cabin is well decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed and it felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

The absolute perfect upgrade for our family.
We have been traveling to this area for nearly 20 years, staying in various properties at first. The last 10 years we stayed at two different small cabins. We found this and it is the PERFECT size for us. It is beautiful and clean. Far enough into the woods where you feel secluded in nature but close enough to civilization if you need milk, cookies or ice cream! It has everything we needed and we loved it all. Communication with owners is TOP KNOTCH! We will 100% be back.

Lovely home!
We had a great stay - this property is fantastic! Very clean and warm - the heated floors were a great touch for a cold week in February! The whole family loved the We were also big fans of the tankless water heater. Only change we would suggest was for the queen bed on the first floor - it was much squeakier than we were used to. We'd definitely stay here again!

Terrific place
The cabin was awesome and just like in the pictures. We couldn’t say enough good things about this cabin. My 2 daughters and I do an annual hiking trip. We go somewhere different each year. I’ve got to say that Jill’s place is one of the best accommodations we’ve had. Although we picked a cold week for our stay and didn’t use them like we planned, the front porch and fire pit are terrific. Jill’s communication the few times we reached out was prompt and specific. The cabin is not far from Lake Placid and we had no trouble finding challenging hikes to make our annual event a success.

Great location with privacy
We had a wonderful time staying at this location. The hosts really thought of everything - plenty of wood for the firepit, propane grill, dishwasher, towels, etc. Centrally located but still private so you feel like you have your own space but are still within good distance of lake placid, white face mountain, etc. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Cozy Cabin
Very clean and well decorated. Everything we needed was on the property including a crock pot, we forgot at home. Great location between Tupper & Lake Placid plenty to do and see. But thoroughly enjoyed the day we just stayed in the cabin, due to weather; one of the highlights of our trip. Very relaxing porch both covered and uncovered. No matter what the weather you can be outside breathing the fresh air and watching nature pass by Wild Turkeys, Deer and plenty of Birds and Squirrels. If you want to take a break but don’t want to leave the comforts of home this is the place to go. If you want the Seclusion of nature but still be close enough to get pizza or fine dining this cabin is in a perfect spot.
