“This is a cool cabin in the woods. Just what we needed to get away from it all. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The locals we met were very friendly, and we enjoyed talking with them. We also took in the Potomac Eagle train ride and enjoyed the town of Romney. We look forward to staying here again.”

“My husband and i shared our honeymoon here together. It was perfect! The owner was so wonderful and the place is super special. We were looking for a relaxing place to stay in the mountains and couldn't have asked for a better time.Being able to lay in bed and view the stars was so great. We were lucky enough to see the meteor shower from the hot tub. Normally when we stay at a place the grill is gross and not usable...but here it was not the case and we got to grill an amazing meal using local...

“This trip was a surprise 40th birthday trip for my fiance. The house is absolutely beautiful! The wood stove inside is super cozy, the hammock swings outside are an amazing place to relax and read. If you want to unplug from the world and relax and recharge, the lazy bear is the place to go. The host was amazing at answering all our questions. We can't wait to come back. ”

“We stayed two nights and it was great! I don’t think we could’ve stayed much longer because we are tall folks so the shower and toilet area was tricky but all part of the adventure in my opinion! We loved star gazing and enjoyed the hot tub. We hiked, found some yummy restaurants and cute shops. The camper was fully stocked so I didn’t need to bring half of what I did but you never know with a lot of rentals. Overall, lovely getaway! ”

“This property and the views were amazing! It is exactly what I was looking for to get away and unplug from chaotic work life. The house was perfect and cozy and the couple times I had to contact the owner they were very kind and attentive. I had already booked a different place when I found this and immediately re-booked and I'm so glad I did! It's in the middle of nature and has everything you need. I will definitely be coming back and possibly making it a yearly trip. I can't recommend more...

“In Springfield for family B day party The 3 bedroom home was large enough for 6 adults The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes,pots and pans and even spices. The property was large and has a detached porch with hot time which backs to a stream. This house was perfect for our needs.”

“You can really tell the house is cared for. It feels like a home. It had everything you could need. They have a well stocked kitchen and even supply snacks. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is huge with a stream behind it with a Great fire pit. I do recommend this property and will definitely go back”

“This is the secind time my family and i have stayed at this property. We loved it as much as we did the first time. You have neighbors but its surrounded with nature so you almost dont even know that they're there. The kids loved the river access and playing with the canoe and floaties that were provided. The back patio is very inviting and decorated nicely. My favorite room of the house has to be the sun room. We plan on coming back anually.”
