“Where do we start? This might without be on of the best hotel we have ever stayed at, and we have stayed at many luxury hotels. The rooms, the food, the staff, the bar, the safari guides - everything was really top notch in every detail. I will really recommend this hotel to anyone I know who will ever visit Sri Lanka. “The team at Big Game was amazing! We booked because we really wanted to do a safari and that was amazing but we were blown away be everything else! The food was above and beyond what I expected with 4 courses for dinner, 3 at lunch , and a very full breakfast. They list breakfast as continental but it's much more than that. The first tent we were in was fine but we upgraded part way through and really appreciated the extra space! ”

“Vi ankom clampingen sent på kvelden. Til tross for at middagen egentlig var stengt fikk vi servert varm og god suppe ved ankomst. Steder tilberedte også vegetarmåltid til oss etter forespørsel. Teltene var godt brukt, men det var god plass og strøm i teltene. Vi fikk også tilgang til eget bad med badekar, dusj og toalett. Renholdet kunne vært bedre, men var heller ikke ille. Vi var dessverre litt uheldig med været, så ble ingen spektakulær soloppgang på oss. Beliggenhet er bra og clampingen er...

“From start to finish the staff made our trip perfect. Incredibly friendly, attentive, always looking to do something a little extra to make your stay unforgettable. Incredible food and accommodation (with hot running water and full comfort!) in a romantic setting surrounded by nature, private safaris in stunning Yala National Park led by guides who are passionate about the animals in the park - we saw countless birds, water buffalo, lizards, a wild boar family, even a sloth bear!”

“A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated.”

“Très grosse déception, avions été séduit par ce logement atypique malheureusement sale (piscine verte, vétusté), des mouches par centaine, bruyant, de nouvelles constructions sur le terrain donc des bruits a prévoir tte la journée. Rien de rien autour (ni restau, ni supermarché) à moins de 15 min en voiture. Nous avons anticipé le départ tellement horrible. Staff gentil mais aucun ne parle anglais donc bcp d’erreurs dans les commandes etc..non recommande donc dommage car le cadre pourrait être...

“They did not recognize the reservation from hotel.com. Took 2+ to checking and kept us waiting. Same for checkout. Food is great. service is good. There should be some arrangement for pickup from airport. Its difficult to get to the hotel as there are lot of roadblocks from local cops. If you have heavy luggage its difficult to get to the hotel.”

“We had a lovely stay at Tiger tops and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. We are glad we stayed 4 nights so we had plenty of time enjoying the safari. We couldnt have asked for a better guide, Sam was genuine and you could tell he loves his job. The only thing I would wish for to give it a 5 star would be air condition and wifi that works in the room.”
