“The whole experience was wonderful. The chalet is lovely and cosy and has everything you need, but it's the grounds that really make this place special. We were only there for one night, but spent most of 2 days there seeing the animals, taking the rowing boat out on the pond, playing tennis, trampoline, walking around the grounds, so beautiful and idyllic. Our 8 year old absolutely loved it. Super friendly staff too. We will definitely be back.”

“Return visit to Sea Vale as a lovely house you feel immediately at home in with everything you need. All you have to do is arrive and enjoy! Wine left to welcome us a much appreciated gesture and already thinking about planning our visit next year. Great location right on the beach with plenty to keep everyone happy by the beach and exploring the surrounding area. ”

“the bungalow was clean and comfortable a little on the small side for us, would have liked a dressing table for hair and makeup and a full length mirror. The garden was perfect and our little dog loved it. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of glasses and dishes. We were lucky with the weather and were able to go out to different places. Overall a nice place to stay.”

“The property is in an amazing location right on the beach with a small supermarket and a cafe within walking distance. The Lion pub about a mile away is excellent. The only negative comment I would make is that the front garden needs a bit of maintenance and finishing off in some areas. Everything else, perfect. ”

“We had a great break as were very lucky to get the really excellent weather mid September. The house was just the job, comfortable furniture, well appointed kitchen. Great location near the sea. House is on quiet estate, not that far to walk down to the shops etc on the Street. Coffee stand 5 minutes away. ”

“Had a lovely stay in this property. Had to book it quite last minute and we were concerned it might not be big enough but it was great. Location also good - you can walk to the beach/seafront from here, and get a bus to the dockyard area. Communication with the owners was excellent - they were very responsive! All in all, had 5 days of sun so couldn't ask for more!! ”

“This was our second stay at this residence and we can't sing its praises enough. The hosts are attentive and responsive. Most everything you could need is available in the residence and everything else is just a short stroll away on the High Street. Also there's a book with very detailed instructions for most any question you could have about the residence itself. Can't recommend enough.”

“We stayed at the Pool House only last week, and had a lovely time. There were 3 reasonably sized double bedrooms all with en-suite which was a real plus. “3 generations of us loved this house. Straight out the gate to the beach, Summer house to watch the game, kids in the hot tub glorious kitchen to prep and socialise and cosy living rooms. To be honest, a week isnt enough to to try out all this house has to offer. So welcoming and well equipped we couldnt ask for more. Just wish it was a secret so we can book in again.”

One of the blinds was broken and not the best blinds to block out sunlight very bright in the twin rooms. The front door lock needs looking at as wouldn't always unlock the latch at the top. “It was a delight to hear the wildlife, and nothing else (!), during my stay at The Hideaway. - Quite refreshing. The accommodation has all one needs, but the emphasis has to be towards the “outdoors”, the tranquillity it offers and marvellous views of the countryside. Walks galore on your doorstep, or just find a spot to sit and take it all in. Well worth a visit.”
