“We loved staying on this houseboat! It was spacious and beautifully decorated. I have a weak stomach but the very VERY subtle movement of the boat didn’t bother me, I actually found it soothing. Bring motion sickness meds if you’re worried and you won’t have any issues, I didn’t even need them! I’ll miss it and would definitely stay again!”

“Where else can you stay in a houseboat in the middle of the city? It is definitely a fun adventure. A few things to know: if you or anyone in your group has mobility issues this place is not for you. Steep stairs. Also you are in the city. It isn’t quiet. The hosts kindly leave earplugs but we sleep with white noise so not an issue for us. The kitchen is more of a Kitchenette. Great storage for clothing given it’s a houseboat. Management was quick to respond to questions. ”

“Ein Stern ist selbst zu viel!!! Achtung - Betrug!!! Das Boot was angeboten wird gibt es zwar aber wird ausschließlich bei booking angeboten. Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. Wir hatten einen Tag vorher gelesen das es an dem Standort nicht existiert und am Anreisetag sofort Expedia kontaktiert. Die Kommunikation hat gut geklappt, nur...

“This houseboat is not fancy - but it is as comfortable as being at a friend's cabin - we didn't want to leave. “We had a truly wonderful stay on Robertino and Carl's boat. The property is stunning, beautifully situated and equipped with every amenity you could think of. We enjoyed cooking in their well stocked kitchen, spent our evenings on deck watching the defilé of boats pass by and slept deeply on the very comfortable beds. Even though the boat is located on a busy canal, it is very peaceful and private. Thank you for making this such a memorable stay.”
