The Space:
Bush Retreat 2 is a secluded retreat in West Alberton, Victoria. Port Albert, Wilsons Prom Hike, and Toms Cap Vineyard are just a few of the nearby attractions in the area. It's a 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities.
The bathroom follows ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water through using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.
If you plan to spend your tiny house Victoria escapes here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you!
IMPORTANT NOTE: We would like to inform guests that there may be occasional farm vehicles passing by during their stay with us, as we are a working farm with animals and crops. For light sleepers, please bring your earplugs with you.
As an added note, please advise that there will be a second tiny house called "Bush Retreat 1" which is 80 meters away from this tiny home. If you want to book in groups, please contact your land host 24 hrs in advance to make arrangements.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and its surrounding areas, including our acre garden.

Getting Around:
By car: 13 kms from Yarram and a 2 1/2 hours drive from Melbourne
By public transport: Train to Traralgon
Bus to Yarram
V/Line bus from Southern Cross railway station.
Other Things to Note:
- No pets allowed
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Outdoor fire is available for guests to use
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please do not enter animal paddocks with cattle in them as they may easily be frightened
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics, close windows, and lock doors when leaving the house
- Please be advised that we have livestock and occasional farm vehicles that may drive past during your stay with us as we are a working farm that cares for animals and crops. Thus, not a safe environment for young children.
Important note:
- Please follow the safety precautions recommended by the land host at the farm
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the [compost/cassette] toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
