The room was cheap, so no complaints on price. I reserved a private apartment, but showed up and saw that we had a common/shared bathroom (which was gross—brown toilet that smelled and crusty brown floor in the shower)—they def know what they are doing by not posting photos. I sent photo proof that the room I reserved was for an entire apartment, but the manager said on his end, it showed I had a shared bathroom (without ever sending me proof, of course—I was supposed to take his word).
The lock on the room door was a very basic “old fashioned” kind, so 3 separate nights we returned to our room to find it unlocked (even though we secured it before leaving). So we stopped keeping anything remotely valuable in the room bc it was not secure. The main door downstairs to the building doesn’t close, let alone lock.
The price was cheap, but we were essentially paying for a mattress and a public toilet bc our room wasn’t safe enough to keep our things locked away, so in those terms, the lodging did it’s job.
If you reserve here, message them beforehand and make sure you know what you’re getting into.
