En pärla
Fantastiskt hotell. Fint rum, magisk utsikt, underbar trädgård och trevlig personal. Vi bode där över nyår och skall man anmärka på något så var det att den obligatoriska (!) nyårsmiddagen var extremt dyr och höll inte i närheten av samma standard som a la carte middagarna övriga dagar vi var där. Vi fick viss kompensation för detta men det var ändå en stor besvikelse. Utöver det hade vi en magiskt tid på detta fina hotell.

Mitt bland djur och natur
Vi hade en fantastisk vistelse på denna vackert belägna resort. Resortens byggnader är väl integrerade i den omgivande naturen - vi somnade till grodors kväkande och syrsors sång och vaknade till vacker fågelsång och vrålapornas läten. På såväl hotellområdet som på hotellets vandringsled fick vi även glädjen att se många djur på nära håll. Hotellets personal var service minded och vi fick såväl före som under vår vistelse bra förslag och hjälp med bokningar av aktiviteter i Arenal-området. Före och efter aktiviteter njöt vi av att sitta i gungstolarna på terrassen och bara njuta av den fantastiska utsikten över Arenal, bada i jacuzzi på vårt rums terrass samt att kunna se djur genom nätet i "naturduschen" på en av de två badrummen. Alla i familjen njöt av vistelsen på Lost Iguanas Resort & Spa

Fantastiskt vackert beläget
Vackert läge i Arenal. Stora, fina rum med fantastiskt vacker, fri utsikt över naturen och vulkanen. Rummen har stora uteplatser. Fin restaurang med god mat och hög servicenivå. Fantastiskt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Fina vandringsleder nära hotellet. Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park ligger nära hotellet och är väl värd ett besök. Vi var glada att bo en bit utanför La Fortuna, som är en ganska ocharmig by. Vårt bästa boende under vår rundresa i Costa Rica.

Stayed at this property in April for 3 nights. No complaints about the property other than the electricity going out for the morning of one of the days we were there in our building - seemed to be only our building after seeing air conditioners running on others. What we were not happy about is the fact that when we booked, we booked one room with four people, before arriving. We then decided to book a second room before arriving, and added one person, for a total of five people. We tried to move one of the four people from room one to the second room because it reduces the extra person fee of $40.00 per night, and bc the cost of the second room included two people even though the reservation had only one adult. At check in we were assured this was fine, and the hotel would take care of it, and the forms were executed with 3 people in one room and two in another. At check out the hotel charged us the $120 and had since refused to refund the money.

The balcony overlooking the rainforest and volcano was wonderful. The trail around the grounds and the restaurant were also great. We also enjoyed the pool bar. The staff were friendly and personable. The lighting in the room was a bit off, but everything else was incredible.

I think this is my favorite place I have stayed in my life. Nothing beats waking up to the volcano view hearing and seeing all the animals around. The decor was perfection I did not want to leave. Food in restaurant was great and spa was outstanding. Cute gift shop, friendly staff. Trails around the property. You will not believe your eyes how peaceful and beautiful this area is.

I have wanted to stay here for years. When the opportunity presented for a short stay I booked. In the 100 block of rooms the road noise, even on a Sunday, woke us up. Parking is NOT at your room and you walk to reception and have to ask them to get your vehicle. Amenities of the hot spring and spa are a shuttle ride and walk away from the property. At the hot spring, the hotel guests only portion at the top was only open till 7:30/8pm, while the facility was open till 10pm. Left us having to walk all the way back down to get a simple water. No real benefit of being a hotel guest over a day pass. Would not book again. Will stay at another property. Aurtero at the bell/valet station was amazing with service and a smile!

An excellent place to stay if you just want a quiet me time in the wilderness- a jungle retreat in a way. For centre and city - you need proper transportation. Uber was our saviour. Other Taxis and shuttles are very pricey.

Great clean property. Not walkable, you have to have a car. Nice staff, close to Mistico. Weak drinks and get dinner elsewhere, the restaurant on site is very hit and miss. Room was very nice. We had an outdoor shower and bathtub. Great view of Arenal. Would stay again.

First time in La Fortuna. Loved the pictures of the property advertising the Lost Iguana especially the view from the balcony. Our room did not disappoint. The restaurant and the spa were great. Hiking trail on the property was fun. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Overall we had a wonderful time.

We spent 2 nights in Lost Iguana. We had a good time, but we didn't spend too much time in the resort. We did many excursions in which they helped us book. The reception was very nice and accommodating. In the middle of our first night our electricity went out. But besides that, the view and the accommodation was beautiful. Be sure to bring bug repellent. Bonus: delicious coffee!

I found the property wonderful all staff were well trained polite and easy going. The sounds were fantastic and as if we were staying in the jungle, only with room service and a spa. Perfect in every way.

The resort has beautiful grounds. Room was average well at least ours. We had a standard room which was very dark. Room could use more lighting than the 1 tiny light lamp and dim ceiling fan light. Also could be better to help block the gaps under the doors to prevent the number of bugs that get into the room. The staff was nice and the breakfast buffet was good. Nice walking trails. You need a car as this place is not walkable.

Lost Iguana is set up on a hill in the middle of the rain forest. They do a perfect job of blending comfort with the natural surroundings. The hot pool and cool pool are great. The servers and the bartenders are excellent.

This place is really lovely. All rooms have a view of arenal volcano. The staff were very nice and rooms clean. If you are booking activities, would recommend looking outside of the hotel. I was on a hike/lunch and the people reported paying half what the hotel charged. Might not always be the case, but if you have time look elsewhere. Otherwise great stay!
