“Great way of staying close to Gibraltar. We enjoyed the stay at the grand Royal boat very much. The boat has very high standard, don’t miss a thing. The beds are really nice, you have all you need in the kitchen and a lovely roof teras! It’s clean and nice inside and outside. Also it’s so beautiful situated in the marina with a marvellous view of the rock. We will definitely come back again! ”

“This boat was amazing, a home from home. It was hard to believe at times you are actually on a boat. Location was great only 5 minutes walk from Limehouse station. Loved that we were met on our arrival and shown around the boat and to know if we had any problems we had someone to contact. Facilities were great, everything supplied. Can’t wait to visit again.”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. The location is fantastic!!! Many of the canals can have a lot of foot and bike traffic, especially at night. This location is close to everything, but on a quiet canal. We loved the funky old boat, but I would caution that the photos might be unintentionally misleading. “Nice, well maintained houseboat with everything in good condition. There are lots of windows and skylights so the boat is not dark. The boat has heating for the winter. The host is extremely nice and stored our luggage for us when we arrived at 11am from our flight. He also rushed the cleaning so we could check in early and nap—wonderful first place to stay after a long flight. There was a large supply of coffee pods for the machine which was appreciated! Wir standen vor nichts in Zaandam und mussten erst da hin fahren von Expedia aus bis wir Ersatz bekommen haben. Da hatten wir bereits 25,-€ Bahngeld bezahlt, was Expedia nicht interessiert hat. “Wir hatten zwei tolle Tage auf dem schönen Hausboot! Es ist wirklich der reine Luxus dort. Wenn man reinkommt, ist es zwar sehr heiß, aber da man alles aufmachen kann, kühlt es auch schnell ab. Der Preis ist allerdings trotzdem sehr hoch. Der Check in ist relativ spät, das Check in Fenster zwischen 16:00 Uhr und 18:00 Uhr. Eher kurz. Dafür muss man dann um 10:00 Uhr morgens schon wieder draußen sein, das finde ich etwas knapp. Man muss auch alles ordentlich und sauber hinterlassen, es wird...
